Description"Enhance your Practice" - Guided Vinyasa power yoga class with Guest Teacher Tamal Dodge (owner and founder of YogaCo - the largest, newest, greenest studio in Santa Monica on the Third Street Promenade).

This is an introduction to the yogic lifestyle, a beautifully infused 2hr power yoga class followed by 1/2hr-guided meditation. All levels welcome.

About Power Yoga... Power yoga is a vinyasa style of yoga in which one pose is linked to the next by breath. It is a vigorous class and often modeled after poses in ashtanga yoga. Power yoga increases internal heat and focus; it infuses the grace of movement with the strength of stillness.

About Tamal... Tamal has been practicing yoga his whole life. Born and raised in his family’s yoga ashram in Hawaii and California, he has been teaching for the last 10 years. Tamal has developed a strong following nation wide and his transformative approach to yoga has been featured in many articles such as Yogis Times, La Yoga and Yoga Fusion Magazine. His vigorous vinyasa classes are filled with humor, music, and meditation. His yearly retreats, workshop, and teacher trainings are a way into the life and times of being a modern yogi. Tamal’s goal is to help you be in the world but not of the world, to be truly peaceful and happy.

We look forward to seeing you…

Aloha, Namaste ~ Tamal www.tamalyoga.com, www.yogaco.com.

Giving Back...
At Sumits Yoga we believe that serving our local, national and world communities is not only integral to running a successful studio, it is part of our individual responsibilities as citizens of the world.

We do this by supporting not-for-profit organizations. Below are a few organizations we've recently given to, and the list will continue to grow. We invite Sumits Yoga students to let us know what charitable organizations are close to your heart so that we may consider them for a future donation.
